1SAS hompage
During this part of your professional development on PDE's SAS framework, you will be asked to navigate the site and create pieces that will assist you as you provide instruction. In order to make your work meaningful, you will be working through this independently, but you will need to submit certain pieces so that your trainers are sure you have been successful with the tool. By now you have a user manual and copies of the standards/anchors for your area which should be helpful. Your trainers are also a resource for you as you learn to navigate the SAS framework.

The Advanced Search feature will allow you to select a subject area or course and then determine the type of results you wish to receive (lesson plan, assessment, video, etc.) The Voluntary Model Curriculum is still under development. You will see more information on this section once it is rich with resources and ready to use. Under the Materials and Resources section, you will also see the 'Learning Progressions'. This section shows the standards and the timing for each during a student's educational years. At this time, the mathematics and reading-literature ones are available.
