1Create a List of Issues
Below is a simplified list of Internet Safety topics. Either on paper or a word document, place the list in order from most important to least important. Now view the webquest at this location. You do not have to complete the webquest, but please make note of the topics discussed. Place these topics in order from most important to least important. Now compare the two lists. What topics are missing and why might they be missing from the list? Additional resource for teachers: If doing this as a class activity, using Intel Visual Ranking gives a nice visual to use for classroom comparision of answers. http://educate.intel.com/en/thinkingtools/Visualranking/ Objective: Students will view two pre-determined websites and compare the topics discussed and will give a rational explanation as to why any might be missing. THe comparision and rational will be accurate for 80% of the topics.

2Create a non-animated test or study guide
Placing a review session or quiz online makes it available 24/7. Google makes creating forms easy, sending the results into a spreadsheet for quick review of the results and for grading. Google can also make its spreadsheet into an easy to use flashcard system that is even available on cell phones! After reviewing this video, create a review/quiz on one of the Internet Safety issues seen earlier. Make sure to mention what website the students will be albe to find the information on. You will have to create a Google account if you do not have one. After seeing how to create flashcards, create a set that students can review on a different Internet Safety topic than the one used in the quiz created above. Objective: Students after watching how to create quizzes/flashcards, will create one of each with at least 10 items, on different topics of Internet Safety with 100% accurate information.

If you are adventurous, do this assignment using Scratch (http://info.scratch.mit.edu/node/165). Remember it must be interactive. Objective: Students after watching how to use triggers and action buttons, will create an interactive review activity using both, with at least 10 items, on an of Internet Safety topic, with 100% accurate information.
