7The Project
The Project! Take a stand.
As a group, find a political/governmental issue that you can all support. Develop a plan that will use the media to get your message to America. Your target demographic for this project is 18- 35 year olds.
Television: use the Nielsen TV Ratings to determine when you would run a 45 second political advertisement. For this project you may only run 10 ads per 24 hr cycle. Then, write/create the 45 second ad. The next few days we will use a Digital Video Camera to actually record your 45 second ad.
Radio/ Podcast: Write and record a 30 second audio advertisement that could be downloaded via Podcast or broadcast over the radio.
Newpaper Editorial: Write a 400 - 500 word newspaper editorial that supports your issue. Then pick 5 newspapers to run your editorial. (Remember demographics and ideologies)
