2NETS*S
These are the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) for Students. They were updated in 2007. Comparing the 1998 NETS*S to the new ones is like going on a field trip through cyber-time. It shows where we started and how far we've come.

3NETS*T
These are the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers. You'll see that the course you are working on addresses many of the standards. You'll notice that nowhere does it say that teachers must be expert in any of these digital tools; however, it does say that teachers should: Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity, Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experiences and Assessments, Model Digital Age Work and Learning, Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility, and Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership.

7Marzano: Using Technology in Classroom Instruction that Works
Many of us are familiar with Bob Marzano's work. Shortly after it was published, Pitler, Hubbell, Kuhn, and Malenoski published Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works. It is a practical guide connecting Marzano's work to digital tools. This school district created their own version.
